STEEL MILL PRODUCTS

PRO-CHEM-CO's steel mill products are used to pickle, roll, clean, temper, lubricate, and condition cold rolled and galvanized steel. Our ISO-9001 registered facility is located close to the heart of the steel industry and allows for next-day deliveries to most points East of the Mississippi. Being centrally located, we also have access to very competitive freight rates and can offer same day deliveries to almost all points in the Midwest.

The current blending capacity at PRO-CHEM-CO exceeds 350,000 gallons and includes both carbon steel and stainless steel blending equipment of all sizes. Our production and storage areas are all indoors, and all blending vessels are dedicated to eliminate any possibility of cross-contamination.

In addition to manufacturing our own steel mill products line, PRO-CHEM-CO currently toll blends approximately 20,000,000 pounds annually of finished products for other fluids manufacturers, including several competitors. Since beginning this line in 1994, we have manufactured in excess of 7,000 shipments on behalf of others.

PRO-CHEM-CO also private labels and custom formulates many other finished products to meet the specific needs of fluid manufacturers in the steel and metal finishing industries. Products currently provided under a private label or custom manufactured basis include the complete range of products produced and sold by PRO-CHEM-CO to its direct customer base.

Pro-Chem-Co Hot Mill Rolling Oils are formulated with only the best virgin raw materials available. These ingredients are polar components, EP additives, and natural and synthetic esters. FINAL STAND MILL DETERGENTS

PRO-CHEM-CO Final Stand Mill Detergents are uniquely formulated to provide the following benefits:

• Formulated with extraordinarily effective wetting/surfactant technology that delivers a high level of cleanability and a consistent, uniform strip appearance.
• Contain a highly effective rust preventative package that protects steel form corrosion between tandem rolling and annealing. This protective residue volatizes completely in anneal and will not interfere with subsequent operations.
• Chelating agents are incorporated into the formulation to control the buildup of hard water elements in the solution.
• PRO-CHEM-CO can incorporate unique technologies which will eliminate ANY rolling oil residue, iron soap, or other buildup in or around the finishing stand. This reduces defects resulting from rolled in residues and makes mill maintenance much easier.
